Public Works / Through Sleeve Pipe-in-Sleeve (Waterproof Cast Iron Pipe)
Serious and solid "flood prevention measures," "labor-saving," and further "pursuit of safe construction."
In recent years, the intensification of typhoons has led to an increase in flooding damage. During Typhoon No. 19 in 2019, the underground electrical equipment of high-rise residential buildings was inundated, and the long-term suspension of infrastructure became a social issue. In response, the national and local governments' flood prevention guidelines strongly recommend flood prevention measures for power supply equipment as essential items. What is Pipe-in-Sleeve? It is a prefabricated sleeve material that has been waterproofed in the factory using PVC sleeves and E-Flex (FEP). It ensures the sound waterproof performance of buildings, while also streamlining on-site work and contributing to safe construction.
